Area of origin: Europe and western Asia.

Adult Dimensions: Height up to 4m (13'), width up to 3m (9,8').

Foliage: Deciduous.

Soil Type: Fertile and moist.

Grey Willow - Salix cinerea

Characteristics and Uses:
The dark green leaves and lightly hairy and grey-blue underneath. The young branches are grey and velvety and develop grooves as they mature. Often planted alongside waterways and around ponds and lakes this little tree is planted alone or in a group.
