Area of origin: Japan. Introduced into Europe in 1847.
Adult Dimensions: Height up to 5 m (16,4'), width up to 3 m (9,8').
Foliage: Semi - evergreen.
Soil Type: All.
Hardiness: Hardy to -30°C.Tolerates pollution.
Exposure: Semi-shade to full sun.

Characteristics and Uses:
The white flowers appear in July. This shrub responds well to cutting and is mainly used in creating screening hedges. Bonsai enthusiasts find this variety very interesting.
