Area of origin: Yunnan, Tibet.
Adult Dimensions: Height up to 4m (13'), width up to 2m (6,6').
Foliage: Evergreen.
Soil Type: All except too much lime
Hardiness: Hardy to -12°C. Protect from strong winds.
Exposure: Semi-shade to full sun.

  Characteristics and Uses: Magnificent flowers at the end of spring until the end of summer.  The flowers are large and white with a lovely perfume.  This shrub is used often for topiary, it is also very effective planted alone, in a group or within a mixed group.
