Characteristics and uses:
The name immediately brings to mind images of huge cathedrals against the blue sky in the beautiful countryside of Corsica. This tree is used a lot in forestation for its rectitude and its growth. The needles of the Corsican pine are twisted unlike those of the Pine of Calabria. In both cases, they come in pairs.
