Chile. Introduced into Europe in 1861.
Adult Dimensions:
Height up to 4 m (13.2'), width up to 3 metres (9.8').
Foliage: Evergreen.
Soil type: All . Well drained.
Hardiness: Tolerant to -15°C.
Exposure: Shade to semi-shade.

Characteristics and Uses:
Superb yellow flowers from February to April with delicious strong perfume of vanilla. This beautiful perfumed colourful shrub can be planted in your borders or mixed hedges.
