Characteristics and uses:
The Heuchera 'Berry smoothie' has stunning foliage. Dark pink in the spring, it will take a purple to scarlet red tint in the summer. It withstands full sun and dry soils, but is equally happy in shady areas. In June-July, it is covered with a cloud of tiny bell- shaped flowers.
It is at its best planted in borders or in containers, with other contrasting foliage Heucheras, or with ornamental grasses and their structured foliage.
