Area of origin: Central Asia, China, Japan Korea.
Adult Dimensions: Height up to 2.5m (8,2'), width up to 2m (6,6').
Soil Type: All. Avoid that which is too wet.
Hardiness: Hardy to -15°C.
Exposure: Semi-shade to full sun.
Characteristics and Uses:
This shrub produces beautiful shaded pink flowers from June to September. The little flowers are magnificent especially against the background of the variegated foliage. Weigelias are planted alone, in groups or within a mixed hedge or bed.
