The Clematis ‘John Howells®’ blossoms from June right through to September. Its large, carmine red flowers have dark stamens. The Clematis likes to have its roots in the shade and its top in the sun: it will thrive with a light, regular watering coupled with bark mulch. Pruning allows it to ramify and regain vigour especially after cold winters.
