Geographic origins: Africa, India (dry regions).

Adult size: Height up to 1.80 metres in its natural environment.

Foliage: Evergreen.

Type of soil: Well drained.

Climate: Needs a temperature of at least 18 to 20°C, it will die if the temperature is below 13°C.

Position: Partial shade or full light.

Characteristics and uses: The sansevieria is valued for its easy maintenance and long life. It is particularly drought resistant and will forgive you for forgetting to water it!
Place your sansevieria in a light position but that is slightly humid. Water it regularly throughout the summer leaving the soil to dry out between watering. In winter reduce the amount of watering. Whatever you do, do not let water stagnate.
