You will appreciate its superb small flowers, which are a shade of pale lilac and appear from June through to August. A lemony scent emanates from its leaves when rubbed together.
This thyme is used to flavour dishes. It will thrive in an aromatic herb garden, in a rockery or in tubs on your balcony.
