Areas of origin: Japan.
Adult Dimensions: Height up to 0.8m, width up to 0.8m (2.6').
Foliage: Evergreen.
Soil type: Dislikes lime and soil that is too wet. Mix other matter in to avoid soil that is too heavy.
Hardiness: Hardy to -15°C.
Exposure: Semi-shade to full sun.


Properties and uses:
The Azalea Japonica “Blue Danube” displays a beautiful blue-mauve blossom at the end of May. Either on its own or as part of group, this shrub will create a focal point in your garden. It can also be planted in a tub.
