Not too wet, not too dry.  Dislikes lime.

Characteristics and Uses: Abundant bright red flowers all summer.  This little shrub is very useful for dwarf hedging, parterres, along the edges of borders and flowerbeds or in containers.  The fruits called grenade, measure up to 4cm long and are very decorative.
