Considered by landscapers and plant enthusiasts as the “Queen of Peonies”, the Sarah Bernhardt variety stays the most sought-after. Since its creation in 1906, it has continued to reign in gardens thanks to its spectacular flowering, sweet fragrance, and unmatched hardiness.

  • A spectacular flowering: Its "bomb-shaped" flowers that can reach up to 20 cm in diameter, open in spring into a multitude of silky soft-pink petals, sometimes delicately edged with carmine at the centre.
  • Delicate fragrance: It releases a gentle, floral scent that perfumes flowerbeds and terraces.
  • Exceptional Longevity: A well-established peony can flower in the same spot for several decades without any particular maintenance.
