The Strawberry plant is a perennial appreciated for its abundant production of small fruits. It is also used as a ground covering plant, or to ornate flowerbeds in an original way.
The strawberries are gathered when they are bright red and come away easily. They are fragile and don't keep very long. They are rich in vitamins and low in calorie, so they are the perfect summer fruit. Excellent for fresh eating, jams, fruit purées, tarts, they will delight the young and the adults alike!
Before the winter frost, cut your strawberry plants to a 5 cm height to allow them to go happily through winter.

The Strawberry plant 'Maxim' is a June-bearing, heavily-cropping, cultivar with large fruits. A great choice for jams!

Plant them now: the shortest way to your plate is through your garden!

Between mid-September and mid-November, you will receive fresh plants (with leaves) to plant quickly after receipt. From mid-November, you will receive "frigo" plants; Torn in vegetative rest and then cooled, they ensure an optimum success rate.
