Area of origin: Canada, Northern America.
Adult dimensions: Height up to 2 m, width up to 2 m.
Foliage: Deciduous.
Type of soil: All types.
Hardiness: Hardy to -25°C.
Exposure: Part shade to full sun.

Properties and uses:
The Golden-twig Dogwood is famous for its outstanding bright yellow winter stems. They have a green shade first, then the golden yellow intensifies by late summer.
This deciduous shrub bears a dark green foliage in spring, which turns pale yellow in autumn.
Small clusters of tiny white flowers appear in May, and they give way to small white berries.
This Dogwood is hardy, easy to care for and grows very fast.

Tip: the best stem colour appears on new growths, so you should prune the shrub around March, for the best display the following winter.
