Properties and uses:
The dianthus 'Haytor White', also called border pink, is a hardy perennial with scented white flowers, from May through to July. It has narrow rough bluish leaves.
It would be ideal in a rockery or a Mediterranean style garden.
It is not very demanding and the dianthus is easy to look after.
Remove the dead flowers to prolong flowering and cut it back if it is not compact enough otherwise it may blacken around its base.
