Properties and uses:
The pear tree can liven up any middle-sized or big garden. In a small garden, the best option is a trellised shape, as it takes less space. In spring, the white pinkish flowers are nice, and in autumn the sun-ripe fruit is long-awaited for. To know if a pear is ready for picking, hold it and turn it delicately. It must come easily off the tree with its stem. Then keep it some days indoor to bring it to full maturity. It is then ready to be eaten!
The pear tree is taken care of all year long, with a good amendment in spring, pruning each year, and looking for disease regularly.

The pear tree ‘William’s red’ is as productive a variety as the classic William’s, but the skin of the fruit is more unusual as it is red. The pear fruits preserve well, they are sweet, the flesh is soft, juicy, and tasty. The fruit is ripe by the end of August, beginning of September.

Plant them now: the shortest way to your plate is through your garden!
