Properties and uses:
The Japanese forest grass ‘Aureola' develops into a dense mound. Its long arching leaves are variegated, yellow and green and take on red tints in the autumn. This nearly all-year round, highly decorative grass can be grown as a ground-covering plant or with other ornamental grasses with their varied, coloured foliage.
Place it in a sunny spot under cooler climates; otherwise it prefers partially shaded sites.
