Properties and uses:
The Cladrastis kentukea is also called Yellowwood, because the heartwood is yellow and it displays a beautiful orange yellow folliage in autumn. This tall bush is cold resistant and can reach 10 metres high, it has a graceful appearance and it tends to grow into several trunks.
In summer, the fragrant white flowers are borne in graceful clusters.
This tree works well planted as a specimen or in a flowerbed. Look for it to surprise you with its bearing, the colours of its foliage and the showy floral display in summer.
It will bring quite an original touch to your garden !
