Characteristics and uses:
Germander (Teucrium lucidrys) is a bushy perennial. It is ideal for growing as borders, in gravel gardens, or in perennial flowerbeds. The evergreen foliage is made of thick, crinkly edged, glossy leaves. Short spires of pink to mauve flowers bloom in summer, from June to October.
Germander is drought-resistant and easy to care for. It adapts to any type of soils, particularly those which are dry and poor, and grows well in a sunny situation.
