Description: Apple tree, Drawf

Drawf Apple tree - Malus domestica nano (latin)

Geographic origin: Horticulture
Adult size: Height up to 3 metres.
Foliage: Deciduous.
Type of soil: Any soils, apple trees particularly like heavy, rich and damp soils but not too wet.
Climate: Hardy to -15°C.
Position: Full sun, sheltered from winds. Pollinators:
Self-fertile, but it is recommended to plant two trees side by side to facilitate fruit production.


Properties and uses:
The Apple Tree is a dwarf apple tree with an elongated shape, particularly adapted to small gardens and family orchards. It can also be grown in a pot on a terrace or a balcony. It is an unusual, hardy apple tree, easy to care for.
The pinkish-white flowers bloom from March to April and give way to red apples, with a crunchy and juicy white flesh.

Several varieties exist:
- 'Redcats': Self-fertile. Produces red apples with juicy white flesh
- 'Goldcats': Self-fertile. Produces golden yellow apples with juicy white flesh
- 'Greencats': Self-fertile. Produces green apples with juicy white flesh
- 'Red Sensation': Self-fertile. Produces shiny red Apples with fragrant flesh
