Properties and uses:
The Lesser Periwinkle 'purpurea' (Vinca minor 'purpurea') is the ideal solution for transforming the shaded areas of your garden into an elegant and colorful plant carpet. This variety stands out for its purple to violet flowering that appears in early spring. A true alternative to lawns in dark corners, it is also useful for covering areas such as undergrowth already colonized by tree roots.

  • Unique Flowering: Intense plum-colored star-shaped flowers that brighten the foliage from March to May (often with a second bloom in late summer).
  • Creeping Groundcover: Thanks to its trailing stems that take root upon contact with the soil, it quickly forms a dense mat that prevents weed growth.
