Properties and uses:
The Elaeagnus Umbellata 'Pointilla’® is a beautiful ornamental shrub which berries are well appreciated. Hardy and with a good fruit-bearing potential, this shrub gives bright red berries which can be harvested in autumn. The berries are excellent in jams, and the fruit is also famous for its antioxidant properties and vitamins.
The melliferous creamy white blossoms appear in May, and they will perfume the whole garden. Thanks to its numerous properties, this shrub can be planted alone, in hedgerows, or in gourmand hedges for everyone to appreciate it, as well as for birds and insects!
