Properties and uses:
Apple tree will probably be your first choice if you decide to plant some fruit trees in your garden. It is at home in any types of soil, as long as they are not too dry.
Flowering takes place in Spring, with small bunches of pinkish white flowers. They are followed by fruits. Then all you have to do is wait for the harvest before biting apples right off the tree…
Apple trees need a pollinator from a different variety in order to bear fruits. The Apple tree Perpetu® 'Evereste' is a worldwide pollinator.
Finally, it is important to keep a regular look out for diseases, to prune and feed the tree every year, to ensure a good harvest.
The ‘Gala’ Apple Tree is quite a productive variety, producing good-sized crunchy and juicy red orangey fruits with a sweet pulp, slightly acidulous. The apples are ripe in September, and can be eaten fresh, cooked in pastries, or in apple sauce and jams.

Plant them now: the shortest way to your plate is through your garden!
