Raspberry 'Glen Coe' non everbearing - Rubus idaeus Glen Coe (latin)

Area of origin: Horticulture.
Adult Dimensions: Height: up to 1,5 m. Spread: up to 1,2 m.
Foliage: Deciduous.
Soil Type: Fresh, humus bearing and non calcareous soil.
Hardiness: Hardy up to -15°C.
Exposure: Full sun.


Properties and uses:
The Raspberry 'Glen Coe' is a cross of black raspberry and raspberry. This bush is quite resistant, and spine free.
The fruits are ripe by the end of June. They have the most stunning dark purple colour and an amazing sweeet flavour.
After the first harvest, prune the bush down to 20 cm from the ground, to stimulate even more the fruit production.
