Properties and uses:
Sedum sieboldii, commonly known as October stonecrop, Siebold’s stonecrop or even October Daphne, is a perennial groundcover plant. It is the perfect choice for rock gardens, borders, planters, or even green roofs and green walls.
A beautiful foliage that changes with the seasons and a spectacular autumn blooming: Sedum sieboldii is particularly appreciated for its succulent, blue-green foliage. The leaves are fleshy with round tips and grow in whorls around the stems which are ascending or hanging. Throughout the seasons, and particularly at the start of autumn, the leaves turn beautiful hues of purple, pink or red.
From September to October, tiny, star-shaped, hot pink flowers bloom in round clusters at the end of the stems.
