Site: Full sun.
Geographical origins: Lord Howe's Island (East of Australia).
Adult sizing: Height up to 2 m.
Growth: Medium.

Properties and uses:
The kentia Palm is a superb indoor Palm which brings in, indisputably, a touch of exoticism to your living room or office. Easy to grow, it also enjoys a stay in your garden during summer to make the most of the sunshine, providing you place it in a spot sheltered from draught.
The kentia Palm is known for its ability to absorb volatile, organic compounds such as Benzene, Hexane and Toluene.

Looking after advice:

The Kentia palm thrives in bright spots, without being exposed directly to sun rays.
- Water, without letting water stand in the saucer and let the soil dry out between two watering.
- Give it some liquid fertiliser every fortnight from April to September.

The leaves' edges of my Kentia Palm are yellowing
It is a frequent phenomenon occurring in interiors which are too hot and dry. Cut out all the yellow bits and regularly mist the foliage of your Kentia Palm.
