Properties and uses:
The Nectarine tree enjoys growing in a mild climate. It does not appreciate cold and prefers warmth and sun. the Nectarine is a spontaneous natural mutation of the peach tree, to adapt to intensely dry conditions. The dark pink flowers that bloom in spring are followed by delicious fruit, best after ripping in the sun.
The Nectarine tree is sensitive to leave curl, therefore we suggest you treat the tree preventively when it is bare, or just before flowering. You should keep a good watch on it, in case other diseases appear, although the tree is generally disease resistant.
Finally, a regular pruning is necessary to keep a constant productivity, and because the branches that bore fruit generally die after the season.

Nectarine tree with flat, yellow-fleshed nectarine 'Mesembrine' : self-fertile, hardy and good productivity. Dark red skin, sweet, juicy yellow flesh. The fruit is ripe at the end of August.

Plant them now: the shortest way to your plate is through your garden!
