Properties and uses:
The Xanthoceras Sorbifolia, also known as Yellowhorn, is a nice but unknown bush with numerous assets.
Belonging to the Horse Chestnut family, the plant has a decorative foliage of pinnate leaves, and beginning in April, long grapes of fragrant, melliferous, white flowers. They are followed by seeds/nuts with a taste of chestnut. The fruits are eaten in autumn, once dried.
Easy to grow and hardy, the Yellowhorn can be planted alone in parks and gardens, as well as in beds or on the border of a forest or thicket.

Plant them now: the shortest way to your plate is through your garden!
