Blurettia Yakushimanum Rhododendron - Rhododendron yakushimanum 'Blurettia' (latin)

Adult Dimensions: Height up to 1m, width up to 1m.
Foliage: Evergreen. Green with a creamy white border.
Soil Type: Dislikes lime and ground that is too wet.  Mix in compost to avoid ground that is too compact.
Hardiness: Hardy. Tolerant to -20°C.
Exposure: Semi-shade to full sun.


Properties and uses:
Rhododendron yakushimanum are dwarf Rhododendrons. They can be planted in beds alongside other heather plants, alone or in pots.
They offer very beautiful flowering in spring, the colors of these dwarf rhododendrons will bring light to your garden.


Several varieties exist:
- 'Blurettia': Height up to 0.90m, dark purple pink flowering on the edge of the petals and purple.
- 'Caroline Allbrook': Height up to 1.20m, purple to pale pink flowering.
