Japanese Maple 'Orange Dream' - Acer palmatum 'Orange Dream' (latin)

Area of origin: Japan, China and Korea.
Adult Dimensions: Height up to 2,50 m, width up to 1,50 m.
Foliage: Deciduous.
Soil Type: Deep and moist, mix in organic matter. Dislikes lime.
Hardiness: Hardy to -20°C. Dislikes spring frosts, cold winds or an atmosphere that is too dry.
Exposure: Shade and semi-shade.

Properties and uses:
The Japanese Maple 'Orange Dream' is absolutely magnificent in all seasons. In the spring, it adorns beautiful orange with red flames leaves which turn yellow, then green in summer, before turning orangey-red in the autumn.
Ideal in a shady site, it withstands sun at the beginning and at the end of the day. The Japanese Maple 'Orange Dream' is equally marvellous in a Japanese garden. It can also be grown as a bonsaï.
