The Bamboo-leaf Oak has a dark grey bark and leaves reminiscent of bamboo leaves, fine, lance-shaped and finely dented. The foliage takes on bronze tints at the buds break and purple in the autumn. This slow growing tree thrives in small gardens, or in parks, grown on its own or in line.
