Pink-flowering Spanish grass - Armeria maritima rosea (latin)

Properties and uses:
Pink-flowering Spanish grass is a perennial, low-growing ground cover plant that is ideal for rock gardens and coastal areas. It forms charming evergreen green cushions topped with a multitude of Pink pom-pom flowers.

  • Generous flowering: From April to July, it is covered with small, spherical Pink flowers carried on fine, elegant stems.
  • Very hardy: Native to coastal areas, it is resistant to sea spray, wind and drought.
  • Zero maintenance: Once established, it requires very little care and helps prevent weeds, making it a valuable alternative to traditional lawns.
  • Ornamental throughout the year: Its dense foliage looks like fine turf and remains green even in the heart of winter.
