Sage Leaved Rockrose - Cistus salvifolius (latin)

Areas of origin: Mediterranean region, Aquitaine, Caucasus.
Adult Dimensions: Height up to 1.5m, width up to 1.5m (4.9').
Foliage: Evergreen.
Soil Type: Dislikes lime and soil that is too wet.
Hardiness: Tolerant to -5°C. Tolerates very dry conditions. Take care with hard frosts. It can however survive at up to 1350m altitude.
Exposure: Full sun.

Properties and uses:
Evergreen bushy shrub with very abundant white flowers in spring. Plant in the ground or in a container near to the house or around the swimming pool. It is also very good in rockeries and flowerbeds.
