Properties and uses:
Quercus Canariensis, also known as Algerian or Canary Oak, is a hardy, fast-growing variety that does not tolerate intense drought conditions. It naturally grows along rivers or in valleys among other oaks. It is quite common in Australia where it is generally planted in public parks and gardens.
The leaves of the Quercus Canariensis are dark green on the upper surface with a paler underside. Its hard and dense wood is used for construction.
