Climbing Hydrangea - Hydrangea petiolaris (latin)

Area of origin: Korea and Japan.
Adult Dimensions: Height up to 15m (49.2'), width up to 3m (9.8').
Foliage: Deciduous, green becoming yellow in Autumn.
Soil Type: Wet and well drained. Enrich if too poor.
Hardiness: Hardy to -25°C.
Exposure: Shade to semi-shade.


Properties and uses:
Very beautiful climbing plant with abundant white flowers in summer. The finely toothed foliage is shiny dark green becoming yellow in autumn. This hydrangea is ideal for growing over a shady wall, or up a bank as ground cover.
