Pink Lupin - Lupinus rosea (latin)

Area of origin: Horticulture
Adult dimensions: 80 cm to 1,20 m high
Foliage: Deciduous
Soil type: Well-drained, moist
Hardiness: Hardy to -15°C
Exposure: Full sun

Properties and uses:
Pink Lupin is an herbaceous perennial plant which produces tall, pink flower spikes, starting in June.

Lupin is the ideal perennial to give structure to flowerbeds, thanks to its attractive and colourful flower spikes, and its dark green foliage. It is easy to mix the sculptural plant with other perennials, flowering bushes or aromatic plants. It is also widely used in English-style gardens.
Lupin is also a hardy, abundant bloomer, and it thrives in moist soils. Member of the Fabaceae family, this plant can fix nitrogen from the air in a soil form useful for the flower or vegetable garden.
