Pink Potentilla - Potentilla Fruticosa rosea (latin)

Area of origin: Northern Hemisphere
Adult dimensions: Height up to 1m, width up to 1m.
Foliage: deciduous
Soil type: Light to well-drained, neutral to limey
Hardiness: Hardy to -20°C
Exposure: Full sun.

Properties and uses:
Ornamental plant thanks to its foliage and flowers, it thrives in flowerbeds, rock gardens, low hedges and terraces, with full sun exposure. It grows in any soil, even poor and dry ones, where other species have a hard time developing.
The shrub can be pruned in late winter to give it a new start.

Several cultivars are available:
- Shrubby Potentilla 'Lovely Pink': Simple flowers, with a diameter of 3 cm reminiscent of those of the Dog Rose. Flowering from May to September.
