Corsican Heath, Upright Heath - Erica terminalis (latin)

Geographical origin: Corsica
Adult dimensions: Height up to 1.50 m, width up to 1.20 m.
Foliage: Evergreen.
Type of soil: Light and well-drained, acid. Only Heath to tolerate loam-based soil.
Climate: Hardy to - 15°C
Site: Partial shade to full sun.


Characteristics and uses:
The Corsican Heath is a dense, bushy evergreen tree-heath. Rose-pink flowers apear in July and last over a month. The rusty, coppery-orange faded flowers persist well into winter. This Heath is highly melliferous.
Hardy and not demanding care, you can use this Heath in your garden, alone or in flowerbeds.
