Properties and uses:
The Tritaniopsis Laurina, commonly called Kanooka in Australia, is a rather small tree rarely seen in our European gardens.
It has a dark smooth bark when young, becoming scaly and creamy-greenish as the tree matures. The leaves are a glossy dark green, and they are hardy to sea sprays.
Blooming happens in May / June. The flowers are small, bright yellow and united in short clusters under the leaves.
The Kanooka grows better along the coast, alone or as a street tree.
