Characteristics and uses:
The Peony is covered with flowers with a few carmine.
The Peony bears a superb blossom from June to July. It will quickly become a small bush covered with flowers. The Peony thrives in moist, rich soils. At planting time, it is recommended to work the soil in depth and to cover up the eyes with 2 to 3cm of soil. Ideal used as cut flowers, Peonies will brighten up your garden as well as your indoor space. Peonies become larger over the years, so give it some manure or compost at the autumn to get a beautiful blossom. Finally, do not hesitate to provide a support to the flowering stems so that they do not break under heavy rain.

Several varieties exist:
- 'Festiva Maxima': pure white flowers with some carmine red spots.
- 'Duchesse de Nemours': white double flower tinged with pale yellow
