Description: Azalea 'Bengal fire'

Azalea 'Bengal fire' - Azalea japonica 'Bengal fire' (latin)

Area of origin: Japan.
Adult Dimensions: Height up to 2m (6.6'),width up to 1.50m (4.9').
Foliage: Evergreen.
Soil type: Dislikes lime and soil that is too wet. Mix other matter in to avoid soil that is too heavy.
Hardiness: Tolerant to -15°C.
Exposure: Semi-shade to full sun.

The Azalea Japonica “Bengal fire” displays a beautiful blossom of fiery red flowers in early May. Planted alone or in a border this beautiful shrub creates a stunning display in your garden. Azaleas can also be planted in a container.
