White African lily - Agapanthus alba (latin)

Geographical origin: Africa.
Adult Dimensions: Height up to 80 cm. spread up to 50cm.

The Agapanthus 'Getty white' bears white, densely packed, ball-shaped inflorescences.
The inflorescences of the African lily 'Polar Ice' are a bright, pure icy-white.
African Lilies are ideal grown in pots, window boxes or in flowering beds. Particularly suited to drought, they blossom from the end of spring to the end of summer. At the end of blossom, cut the dried stems. Add some compost in the autumn. In winter mulch the base or bring them indoors to protect them from frost in the coldest areas.
