Properties and uses:
Sedum spathulifolium 'Cape Blanco', commonly known as Broadleaf stonecrop, or Spoon-leaved stonecrop, is a perennial groundcover plant. It is the perfect choice for rock gardens, green roofs or to cover any dry, sunny area.
Sedum spathulifolium 'Cape Blanco' is a simple solution to revegetate difficult soil types without much maintenance. It thrives in extreme conditions and is exceptionally resistant to drought and poor soils.
Sedum spathulifolium 'Cape Blanco' is also admired for its succulent, silver grey foliage that forms a dense carpet-like mat. At the start of summer, a multitude of tiny, star-shaped, sulphur yellow flowers bloom, illuminating the garden and attracting pollinator insects such as bees.
