Properties and uses:
Camomile is a melliferous, annual plant and an abundant bloomer.
It is mainly used in hot beverages for its numerous medicinal qualities: it helps digestion, is a painkiller, antispasmodic and soothing. We also use it as essential oil and liquor. Its yellow and white flower looks like a daisy and is mainly used once dried. The fragrant blooming takes place between May and July.
A sunny spot in a vegetable garden, a flowerbed or a flowered field is enough. Camomile can also reseed itself every year.
