Characteristics and uses:
The Bleeding Hearts is a charming small perennial plant which will decorate flower beds and planters, especially if they are in a sheltered situation in your garden or on your balcony. This 'Valentine' species displays cherry red lockets with pure white hearts as soon as May-June. This is a new and more intensive twist on an old favourite of our grandmothers.
