Properties and uses:
Provençal symbol, this Cypress with its pyramid shape is highly decorative. It is found in its natural state in the Mediterranean area.
Some specimens can live more than 500 years.
Grown preferably on its own, the Provençal Cypress can be grown in small gardens, even in tubs.
For a slender, columnar shape, it is best to choose an Italian Pencil Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens 'stricta').
