Description: Plum Tree, Dwarf self-fertile

Dwarf self-fertile Plum Tree - Prunus domestica nano (latin)

Geographic origin: Horticulture
Adult dimensions: Height up to 1.50 m, but can grow up to 2.50 m.
Foliage: Deciduous.
Type of soil: Rich and moist. Avoid dry soils
Hardiness: Hardy to -15°C.
Exposure: Full sun.

Properties and uses:
the Plum Tree is a dwarf fruit tree, its height won't go over one meter fifty, which makes it perfect for planting in pots. It is a hardy variety (down to -15°C), self-fertile and giving lots of fruits. One plant is enough to give fruits, as soon as the second year after the planting.
The flowers bloom in March and the first plums appear at the end of August.

Plant them now: the shortest way to your plate is through your garden!

Several varieties exist:
- 'Plum me': self-fertile, bears fruit early; sweet, juicy fruit with purple skin. Ripens in late August.
- 'Goldust': self-fertile, bears fruit early; sweet, juicy fruit with yellow skin. Ripens in August.
