Properties and uses:
The Ice plant, Bicolor Carpet is a succulent ground cover perennial highly valued for its spreading habit and its very colourful and spectacular flowering.
Blooming continuously from summer to autumn, the Ice Plant produces a large quantity of flowers, making it particularly original.

It has a good heat and drought tolerance, so it is perfect for rockeries, stone walls, borders or dry gardens. The leaves of this succulent store water so it can survive in very dry and hot conditions.
Easy to grow, the Ice Plant thrives in a well-drained soil in a sunny location.

It is an excellent ground covering plant which can prevent weeds from growing and protect soil from eroding.
It can also be planted in pots or containers, to bring a Mediterranean touch to a terrace or balcony.

Several varieties exist:
'FireGlow': orange flowers with a pink center
'Fire Wonder': orange flowers with a yellow center
