 Powder Puff Cactus - Cactus mammillaria bocasana (latin)

Area of origin: Mexico.
Adult Dimensions :
Soil Type: Avoid too much moisture, provide extra drainage if necessary.  Dislikes lime. 
Exposure:  Good sunlight but not burning heat.
Watering: In winter, none summer generously.
Over-wintering: Maintain at temp between 0 and 5°C and avoid environments that are too wet.  Can sometimes tolerate temperatures to -4°C if sheltered.


 Characteristics and Uses: This little round cactus produces a beautiful rose white flower.  The flowers measure up to 2cm long and up to 1.5cm in diameter.  They are followed by cylindrical red fruits.
